Shreveport, Louisiana Newborn Photographer | Troy's Newborn Session

This little chunk was a champ for his newborn session. I went to school with his mother and it was such a blessing to get to do Troy’s newborn session. I was so glad she just went with the flow and did not care about what colors or poses. Most parents come in and say their newborn sleeps all the time. Which is so true but in a different environment, it changes sometimes. They are not used to being moved, unwrapped, and poses constantly. We did get several set ups in a short amount of time. He was sound asleep and did not even move when I unwrapped him. When he was awake for minute, I thought he had such pretty eyes! Sometimes I talk to the newborns like they can talk back. I just know they can hear voices. When we were all done and ready to know, he started crying. Needless to say, we were both sad. I probably could have posed him all day because he looked so precious in all the colors we used. Audrey is such a great big sister. She just wanted to watch and see what bubba was doing. It was seriously the sweetest thing ever. You could tell how much she loved him because she wanted to make sure he was okay.

How precious is that little smirk? I love trying different poses.

Details are so important to me. They only still little for a short amount of time!
