I was so honored to capture this sweet newborn session! I met Nikki almost three years ago. She has always been hilarious. She is always cracking jokes to make others smile. Her son was only two years old. He was very energetic and expressive. I loved how much he made me laugh that day. What stuck out to me more than anything was the beautiful grandmother chasing him around. She was one of the sweetest women I have ever met. Nikki’s mother passed away from cancer. I couldn’t imagine what Nikki and her family went through. It seriously broke my heart! I am thankful to see Nikki throughout the years. She is so strong to have endured so much at her age. When I saw Kiara, I could just imagine how much her grandmother would have loved her. She might would have even came to the newborn session with Nikki.

Kiara was such an angel! She didn’t even make a peep. Mom said I was able to do whatever I wanted. I love when that happens because I always seem to go to blues for baby girls. I love the variety of her gallery with the pop of colors.

I have been dying to use this super cute outfit with matching tieback. I just knew Kiara would be perfect in it! I love how pretty she looked in pink! I was also excited to use blue. <3
