If you read my blogs, you have probably seen this beautiful family a few times. Mariah has been my loyal client for two years. I absolutely love watching her family grow. I remember when she first told me she was pregnant Arya, I had to get her to model for my maternity workshop! I almost screamed in my head when she said she was pregnant again. We started planning off the bat! It always melts my heart when I am one of the first ones to know they are pregnant .Arya was so gentle with little Arlo! You could tell how much she loved her little brother. She wanted to give him kisses the whole time.

I love maternity sessions because the options are endless. Makeup and hair is just the start to an awesome day! Pampering is exactly what a mother needs. Capturing every little detail that you might not think is important at the time. I can’t tell you everything about my pregnancy. I barely took photographs too. It’s the memories that mean the most later down the road. What did you crave? What did you cry over? What was the best moments? How did you feel? You deserve to feel beautiful no matter what. You might not feel up for a session at the time but you will not regret it later. Simple studio shots? Outdoor natural location? Fine art style? Whatever you decide on, we plan together.

The experience is always unique to you! We planned her session with my new black tulle dress that she knew she wanted to use. A studio session was first of course because Mariah did say she wanted to be extra! Haha!!! After that, we went outside for family shots with a gorgeous boho dress that fit her style! Mariah decided to coordinate her dresses from maternity to newborn session. Her newborn fall colors gave me all the feels. I am always sad when fall ends but then I get excited for Christmas set ups! She chose a beautiful grey acrylic cover album, digitals, and a linen book! I enjoyed every moment of designing her album. Grey was such an awesome choice!
