Caitlyn and Dylan were too sweet. I remember when Caitlyn reached out to me because she was thankful she found someone to do maternity and newborn. She expressed how she couldn’t find anyone she loved. I feel honored she chose me to capture this special memories. I just knew she was going to love being pampered. At her maternity session she said she was running out of fuel. It makes me even more thankful I give my clients the experience they deserve. I know how it feels to try on clothes or order them online just to not like them. You won’t have to shop or stress about anything when booking Kristina Banks Photography. Caitlyn enjoyed not having to worry about her outfits, makeup, hair, and accessories.
We coordinated her maternity and newborn session with the same beautiful gown she fell in love with. Seeing the outcome made her even more excited. I am sure she was thinking about how awkward the pose was! Haha. I love she trusted me and we saw each other’s visions. We also did red and blue for both the maternity and newborn session. Nolan loved to snooze away while his bother laid on him. Liam on the other hand wanted to see everything going on.
At the ordering, they were thrilled to see how their photographs turned out. Seeing them choose their favorites showed me how much they loved them. It was hard to narrow them down but I can’t say I blamed them. It is tough when you see photographs of your children because you think they are all cute. Hearing all the ooo and ahh is the best part. Seeing their reactions make me even more excited. I love being able to experience this journey with my clients. Soon after, Caitlyn express how the experience was beyond worth the investment. You can’t beat that! Feeling appreciated for all your hard work is the best feeling. Besides being able to cuddle the cutest little human. Lol. I know I am rambling now but my clients are seriously the best.
FAQ ABOUT THE MATERNITY AND NEWBORN EXPERIENCE:
Do you rent your gown?
I do not rent my gowns out. They are exclusively for my clients only.
Will you have my size?
Yes. I have XS-4XL gowns. Remember these are vendors who hand make them. They are high quality and sure to fit right.
Is makeup and hair included?
Yes.
How many outfits can I choose?
You can choose up to four gowns. For the newborn session, you can wear one of my gowns if you’d like. They can be worn for non maternity sessions as all.
Do you wash everything?
They are washed in sensitive detergent (laundry sanitizer too) after each use.
My spouse and siblings come?
ABSOLUTELY! We definitely encourage it.
How many set ups do you do for newborns?
It all depends on baby. I do not force any poses. I typically have a work flow so 6-7 set ups is average (not including parent/sibling shots).
What products are popular?
My clients fall in love with the acrylic prints because they are modern. They can match the wall art with an acrylic block and acrylic album. Clients who have a more farmhouse look prefer my mounted framed prints and linen albums.
Does the session fee include anything?
YES! Due to high demand, the session fee reserves your date in my calendar | A customized session + a pre-consultation | One on one styling and guidance | An hour of shooting time for all sessions besides newborns (2-4 hours for a newborn session) | Make up and hair for maternity & family sessions | Multiple set ups + access to all my high quality props | Access to my client closet for maternity or non maternity | Children’s closet | Professional designing of all product | Professional editing and retouching | Your viewing and ordering appointment 1-2 weeks after your session
What do I wear?
Just wear your comfy clothes and we will take care of the rest. 1-2 weeks prior to your session, you will be able to try on any gowns you love.
What do I bring?
A paci if you’d like and a bottle if you’d like(depending how you are feeding and so on). I recommend bringing the outfits for your family so we can coordinate. You may also send me photographs prior so I can help style everyone! We discuss a lot about that at your dress try-ons.
Other than that, the studio is fully stocked with wipes, diapers, refreshments, space heater, bottle warmer, toys, gowns, props, wraps, tiebacks, and so on. Feel free to bring any siblings along too.
