Shreveport, Louisiana Maternity Photographer | Anita's Maternity Session

I was so excited when Anita reached out saying she was expecting a little baby girl. She was one of my first studio sessions two years ago. It is always a pleasure to see clients again! Lawson is already so big. He loved spinning around in my chair. He definitely made himself at home. His little laugh was so contagious! This time she wanted a studio session + outdoors. She did both last time but she wanted more of a girly feel.

She chose the name Darcy. How precious is that? I always love names that aren’t common. It was also wild to see Kolby without his mullet. I loved Lawson had a baby one though. It was the cutest thing ever! His little outfit was western which fits their style so well. I do think Lawson didn’t know what to think about the pants and his boots. Anita said he wasn’t used to putting on shoes. His little wobble was too precious.

She knew before she came into the Shreveport studio, she knew she wanted more girly colors this time. So purple was one of the first colors I suggested. I loved how it fit her hair too. It made her truly pop! We did so many colors and set ups. I always love providing a variety for my clients to choose from at their ordering session.

She was open to the fabric toss which turned out to be a favorite! She had a hard time choosing which ones she wanted because she loved them all. I always help guiding my clients but it’s definitely a challenge when you love them ALL. This session was a different style than her first. So I love how different they are. She had blonde hair and we did darker colors. This time she had darker hair and we did lighter colors.

Anita loved feeling like a QUEEN for her maternity photoshoot.
