Shreveport, Louisiana Newborn Photographer | Charlotte's Newborn Session

Charlotte was a little angel! She looked just like a doll. She was almost one month and loved to give me all the facial expression. I loved working with her family. Her mother and grandmother were the sweetest people. The dad also loved to make jokes at the maternity session. He was a good hair blower. Overall, I can’t wait to work with them again for her milestone session. Milestone photography is when you get to see them grow. Being apart of the journey is an honor. I know how fast these memories pass us by!

NEWBORN SESSION

When you book your photography session, you want to make sure you connect with your photographer. You want to be a good fit. You will feel more comfortable around your photographer. Especially when you two talk or meet up. I want to ensure my clients can be comfortable in my studio and talking to me. Any concerns or ideas can be brought up. It’s important so I can know what you like and don’t like. Don’t worry about asking too many questions because too many is better than none. So you understand the entire process better.

Some babies don't like certain poses and that's okay. Sometimes you have to do a different workflow.

Please don't worry though! I know some think their little one will sleep the entire time or they want them too. It's normal for them to be awake and that's why I do different soothing techniques. Remember, I am moving your little one, posing, feeding, and changing. I work on their time! Plus, we all love awake shots.

That is why an experienced professional is SO important. Afterall, this is your little one.

A professional will have patience and understanding.

They will care for you and your family. Instead of just trying to rush the session to get it over. (I love the snuggles).

They will know soothing techniques to calm your little one down.

They will know the cues for when baby is hungry or not liking the pose.

They won't force any thing.

They will have hands on baby or a spotter beside baby.

They know certain poses have to be a composite.

Charlotte is relaxing. Look at the cute little robe mom wanted. She even posed herself. It looks like she’s at a spa. Anything different brings me joy. Love being able to create something parents love! No idea is too much or too simple. We can make it happen! Your vision and my vision can create magic together. We will have to do some of the same set ups for her milestone session. Coordinating sessions is my jam.

At the ordering, we all agreed she looked beautiful in every color. I wanted to use all the colors since mom was not a fan of blush pink. It was definitely hard for them to choose at the ordering. That means I have done my job. Just washing grandmother cuddle Charlotte, melted my heart. You can tell how in love they are with her. It’s her first grandbaby! She was beyond loved before she got here. Mom showed me a photograph and I swear Charlotte looks like her but makes the same faces as dad. It’s fun to see who she looked like more.

Grandmother saw the little toes with heart and requested it. I love when parents/grandparents request a pose. I can’t always guarantee them but it gives me a better idea of what you like. Please don’t hesitate to view my portfolio and send me some you are in love with! <3
