Angela did not get the maternity experience so she knew she definitely wanted the newborn experience. She got her hair and makeup done while I was posing Sierra. She was the cutest. She loved all the snuggles. Hey, I never mind snuggling. That is one of the best parts of my job. Angela and Mario were shocked at all the setups we got to do. They loved the colors and variety. The pink definitely complimented Sierra’s skin tones. We had to do the glasses since it was almost Valentine’s Day. They said they LOVED Valentine’s Day. The best part was she came in a onesies with cute little hearts. I couldn’t get over her hair. Mom said she had heart burn the whole time but it went away right after Sierra was born.

It made me so excited every time I heard them saying aww or omg so amazing when I showed them the back of the camera. You can tell how much this meant for them. We even chose the maroon together at the end. Angela said it was her favorite color and it fit so well with the black. I love coordinating colors, poses, and special sentimental items into newborn sessions. It makes it that much more special for the family. They even chose the popular hand pose for wall art. When they realized they didn’t have their rings on, they still wanted to do it because they loved how connected the pose felt.

They wanted just digitals but at the ordering mom couldn’t let the idea of having an acrylic go! Mom decided on two beautiful acrylics with her digitals of course. I know how hard it was for them to decide which ones to keep because Sierra had the cutest little expressions in all her photographs. She came to show me she was the boss. I truly hope I get the chance to capture this family again before they decide to move from Louisiana. Angela and Mario met in the military and have been together over four years. They have been to different states and didn’t expect so much rain here. I can’t thank them enough for their service! They are truly incredible inside and out. Two of the sweetest people I have ever met.
