Shreveport Newborn Photographer | Adaline's Newborn Session
This story will always touch me. My clients leave an imprint on my heart and this family was definitely one of them. Michelle reached out to me a few years ago. She expressed the struggles of infertility. As someone who is going through IVF, I totally relate. I was excited she was finally expecting after hear her journey. Which wasn’t an easy one. Unfortunately, she had a miscarriage. I was heartbroken and I totally understand how she felt. I felt so sad for them.
She ended up reaching out again but she was a little nervous. That is totally understandable. She booked maternity and newborn with high hopes. They were actually in the process of planning their next retrieval for IVF. They had done multiple within almost a decade. They actually found out they were expecting NATURALLY. How incredible is that? Their journey is inspiring. I am so thankful they were willing to open up about their journey. I know the struggle all to well and it’s not easy. After almost a decade, they welcomed their beautiful baby girl Adaline. I was beyond excited to finally meet their little bundle of joy.
She loved to cuddle that’s for sure. I loved seeing ALL her hair. I mean look at those cheeks and long eyelashes. She was a little model with the sunglasses. Perfect for Valentine’s Day. I love newborn sessions because we are able to capture the smallest details, different props, and family shots where snuggles comes in. She was actually born a few days prior to Christmas so you know a Christmas set up was perfect for her newborn photoshoot. We also incorporated a rainbow since she’s a rainbow baby. Mom was very thankful I did that. They were amazed at all the shots we got at her session. It was definitely hard for them to narrow down which ones they wanted. I can’t say I blame them because they were all precious.
