Shreveport, Louisiana Newborn Photographer | Kai's Newborn Session
I love being creative in my own way! I plan to take a day every month this year to do poses or something different I have been wanting to do. That is what helps me from getting burned out. I absolutely love my job and all the memories I get to capture. However, I am only one person that does everything for my business. Marketing, advertising, editing, shooting, planning, meetings, and etc.. It takes more to run a business than I thought. Especially since I don’t get benefits or anything like others. I have to pay more than anyone with a steady paycheck. So next time when you are looking for a photographer, just know you are showing value in a small business. It means the world to me that my clients chose me based on experience, work, and talent. They do not lie when they say you get what you pay for.
I did Lyni’s maternity boudoir session. I knew she would be up for anything. When I have ideas, I love being able to put them in a photograph to cherish forever. Even if I don’t think I am creative. I was extremely excited to work with Lyni and her cute little belly. I was happy I got to capture her little nugget as well. He was such a dream and he looked amazing in any other. When a parent tells me they do not care about the colors I use, I definitely take advantage to use all the colors I can. I can hear his little breathing as we speak. I love when babies are sound asleep and I can hear their little snores. It melts my heart. Mothers always enjoy being able to see what I am doing and how I work with their tiny baby. It never fails when they say, “I did not know it would take that much.” It puts in perspective why newborns take 2-4 hours.
