Shreveport, Louisiana Newborn Photographer | Charlie's Newborn Session

I can tell you, I loved this family from the moment I talked to Markay. How beautiful are they? Hearing their love story made me want to cry happy tears. At their session, I could tell Eric was one of the dads that wanted to be involved in the memories. He was one of the funniest dads talking about my senior poses. I will never let him live that down because I can’t un see it. LOL! It’s always a plus when the family realizes how much goes into a session. It was like I have known this family FOREVER. They are extremely caring and outgoing. I remember when Eric told me I must have worked with a fireman before because I got his sarcasm. The funny thing is, I am always excited when someone gets mine too.

It is always a honor to hear one of my clients referred several women to me. Most of my clients are referrals and I can’t thank my clients enough! It makes me cheerful someone trust me enough to tell all their friends about their experience. I captured Markay’s belly to baby package! Planning for the perfect fall session with the perfect colors. I love how she mixed fall with a lighter color. It gives the session a different vibe from studio to outdoor. We kept the same fall vibe for Charlie’s newborn session. Of course, I had to do light blue to coordinate Markay’s maternity session.

MY FAVORITE PART is the viewing and ordering session. I love being able to see my clients reactions. I LIVE for it. Even dad mentioned Charlie wouldn’t be small again and I couldn’t agree more. It’s always better to invest in the photographer you want so you know the experience will be 100% unique! This time they brought their children along. It honestly melted my heart when their daughter said they turned out so great. I am honored even thought she is 11, she LOVED them. Children can really feel the love through photographs. It is proven when you have photographs in your home of your children, it can boost their self-esteem. She helped pick the photographs too. I love how they were all IN LOVE with them as much as me. I seriously can’t wait to work with them again!

Belly to baby package is the PERFECT combination. You are able to coordinate your maternity and newborn session. It’s always better to go with a photographer who specializes in both. It means even more when you have not had photographs done for yearssssss. It almost becomes more special as time passes. Mainly because you start to think how big your children are getting. I know it’s cliché but they do grow extremely fast. I say all the time, “wow I can’t believe my daughter is almost seven.”

I will never forget when Markay said she showed Eric a newborn gallery and he thought it was several babies in one blog. I still laugh about it because my newborn galleries are bigger. I love giving my clients a HUGE variety of poses to choose from. I did my job if you come to the ordering and have a hard time to choose your favorites. Charlie was such an angel at his session. Anytime I am able to get awake shots, I am excited. His cute little eyes and all his hair. Even all his little smirks. I loved him in every single color. I swear I said 5000 times how much he looked JUST like dad. As soon as dad walked in holding him, I could see how in love he was. I am sure at home, he just holds him all day. Especially since he is the first baby in 7 years. That is special! The girls were so gentle with him the entire time. Mom talked about how they were such a big help at home.

Of course we had to a fireman set up since Eric is a fireman. He is very dedicated to his job so when they mentioned a fireman set up, I knew we had to make it happen. I love ANYTHING sentimental to my clients because when you look back as they get older, you realized how important that shot was. He took a fireman shot with his daughter when they were younger too. How awesome is that? When he said he wanted one on the jacket without him touching it (safety reasons) I was excited to get creative. It ended up being one of my favorite shots.
