WHY SHOULD YOU HIRE A PROFESSIONAL?
Until you start getting photographs done, you don’t realize how much time and effort goes into it. Hair and makeup, nails, styling, and time. You have to plan your day accordingly so you aren’t late. You have to get your hair and makeup done then rush to the session hoping you brought everything. You don’t want to be late so you’re stressing about time the entire time. You planned outfits for weeks and even bought new ones hoping they fit right. Oh and if you have other children, you are praying they smile so the photographer can get the perfect shots. This is all for one day…. All the stress for just one day.
Don’t worry, I am here to the rescue. This is exactly why I offer hair and makeup at my studio. You also have the opportunity to add an in house message. That covers you rushing since you’re already there. If you choose an outdoor location, they aren’t far from my studio. My studio is located right in the center of town which makes it convenient for everyone. Even my clients coming from 2-3 hours away. You come prior to look at my maternity gowns and try on any you want. You may even wear my gowns for non maternity. How neat is that? Once you choose the perfect one/ones, I will help style your spouse/children to coordinate. No more stress about not knowing what looks good or what colors to match. If you leave something behind, 9/10 you can find it at my studio. Lint roller? Steamer? Hair tie? I have it all ready for you to go. You might be worried about your child/children but once I show you back of camera, your mind will ease up. I love to play games and allow them to actually run around. You can bet we will capture natural smiling poses while getting to have fun. It’s hard for any child to stand still and just smile. I love getting to see their personalities glow. Toys and snacks are at the studio so you can relax while getting your hair and makeup done. If you your child wants in on the fun for hair and makeup, we don’t mind one bit. My makeup artist loves to put a little on if they want to feel special too.

Let’s face it, we all know by now children grow fast. I always feel cheesy saying that until I had a child of my own. Everyone told me to capture every moment I got with her. Of course I tried but life got in the way most of the time. I was so busy working and trying to get my business going. I always said I will just take them on my phone or I will do it in a minute. That minute came and went. Little did I know how fast it would actually go. My daughter is almost seven and I still regret not doing maternity and newborn. I regret not getting photographs done until she was 3. I have photographs of her being young, sure. I have photographs of me being pregnant, sure. However, I was never the one to get in front of the camera. I don’t have many photographs as a whole family when she was younger. I didn’t wear a beautiful gown or have my hair and makeup done. I didn’t get to feel beautiful when I really wanted to. If I could go back at all, that is one thing I would redo. All the cute belly photographs then cute tiny feet.

She took care of snacks and my daughter while I got my hair and makeup done. Her makeup artist is excellent at what she does. My maternity session helped me gain confidence the rest of my pregnancy. I no longer felt like a whale but like a queen. The dresses she had made me feel like I was going to an extravagant ball. I even got to wear one at my newborn session too.
