Shreveport, Louisiana Maternity Photographer | Mariah's Maternity Session

Mariah has been my loyal client for two years now! It means the world to me when clients decide to use me for their second baby as well. I seriously can not believe how big Arya is already. I met Mariah when she was referred to be my model for a maternity workshop in 2018. We had such a blast even though it was extremely hot that day in Louisiana. Mariah reached out to me when she first found out she expecting her second child. She was ecstatic to do something totally different this time. She said you know what, I want to do something EXTRA. Well you do not have to tell me that twice! I love anything different that can let me be creative in a different way. I already had a beautiful big tulle dress on the way I couldn’t wait to use plus new boho dresses that fit her style perfectly. I loved hearing the excitement when she viewed the dresses! We both laughed for a while because we did not realize how BIG it was going to be. Now, I have no idea where to even hang it. Eventually, I will need a bigger studio or a bigger rack. LOL!

Her baby boy will be here soon and I am ready for all the snuggles. It’s important because she did not get newborns with Arya, so we will be sure to get plenty of cute sibling shots! <3

How precious is this awesome family? I finally got to meet Austin and I love how he was a trooper through the whole session. Even in long sleeves. Poor guy because I know the humidity here is RIDICULOUS. He did not mind one bit though! He wanted to be apart of the memories too! Even though Arya was not having it this day, I am excited at all the candid smiles I got. Mom did not even think I got any so it’s a plus to surprise her them. I love when parents say, “I hope you got one that’s good.” I always think, “watch this.” I can not lie Arya is good at mean mugging like her mom. They both have the serious look down to the T. I can tell you one thing, she loved me though. I carried her most of the time and let her push buttons on my camera (it was off do not worry). She loved to chase me and hold my hand. What is better than that? I swear I have the best job IN THE WORLD.

A LITTLE ABOUT LUXURY MATERNITY SESSIONS

The best part about the luxury maternity sessions is everything is provided. I want a completely stress free experience for my clients. We will start with makeup and hair and if you have a specific idea, just let my in house artist know. After that, we will start with a studio session. I can promise between studio and outdoor, we will get a variety. Moms usually have such a hard time picking between all the different poses and dresses. After the studio session, we will head outdoors to catch the sunset. Sometimes it does not always work out since the sunset is only a limited amount of time. However, I can promise the scenery will still be beautiful. I absolutely love nature and the jungle aspect of it! You can also choose up to three gowns! YES! Three is more than enough to be able to choose from but I can promise it might still be hard with 60+ dresses so if you have any color or style idea, you can let me know. I will pull them prior to dress try ons.

1-2 weeks after the session, you will be able to come back to the studio to view your photographs. THIS IS MY FAVORITE PART. I love being able to enjoy the entire experience with my clients. It means the world to me to see how much they appreciate the time and effort I put into each session. You will never have to wonder what to do next. I will help guide you through which products would fit your home perfectly. You even get digitals as a back up. <3
