Shreveport, Louisiana Newborn Photographer | AvaMae's Newborn Session

This family was so adventurous. I love how they were down for anything even towards the end of the session when the girls were getting tired. We ran to the field to capture the sun after a few studio shots. When we were done, we even raced back to the car. Of course I lost but I can’t lie, they were fast. All the laughs and playful poses made my heart melt. I love getting children to interact in different ways because I know how hard it is to stand there and smile. Why not make it fun too? Dad definitely deserves an award for helping me toss and fix the dresses during the session. That means a lot to me because it shows how the session is important to them as well. I also love seeing the glow during maternity sessions. The moms feel so beautiful the entire time. I know sometimes as a mom, we do not put ourselves first. It is awesome I get to offer makeup and hair plus gowns to take the stress off the women.

Sessions take a lot of planning. I want to be sure to get the vision for my client perfectly. We discussed via phone about studio, outdoor, and other details. I loved getting to know Jessica and her family. I knew from the beginning we would click. Sessions include consultations, dress try ons, styling and guidance, and other planning. You always want to be prepared before each session when it comes to outfits, time, date, vision, products, viewing, and etc.. You want to be able to trust your photographer. My judgement means a lot to my clients because you want your photographs to come out perfect. I know what looks good in photographs and what does not. I guide my clients from picking out their outfits to which products would fit their home. You deserve to have the experience you want. <3

All mom could say was ahhhhh when she saw this color. I knew marron was her favorite so I was excited to show her.

Green and mustard are my favorite colors for little girl. Besides pink because if you are having a girl, you definitely get a pink set up!

AvaMae was such a sweetheart. She might not have liked being touch too much but she sure did love to cuddle. I cuddled her for a while at one point because she was so cozy. I did not even want to put her down! These girls were so awesome! Mom and dad sure do have three beautiful little girls. They could not help but laugh the entire time. You can tell they are bestfriends and that made me laugh. Parents love when I can get natural smiling poses because they aren’t forced. I could tell how much mom loved them at her viewing and ordering session. It makes me happy to see how happy the parents are! I know it is hard to choose their favorites and to me, that means I done my job.
