Shreveport, Louisiana Maternity Photographer | Amberlyn's Maternity Session

Amberlyn and Nathaniel were a blast. While she was getting her makeup done, we seriously laughed non stop. That is an important part of the whole experience. I enjoy getting to know my clients on a deeper level. I am definitely not the photographer who is, “shoot, shoot, done, and bye.” I am a personalized photographer who takes pride in providing an unique experience for each client.

I seriously can not wait to meet the precious boys and their baby girl. I loved the dresses she tried on because they made her pop! Planning this session, she knew she wanted intimate poses. She was thrilled she got studio and outdoor poses because that is not offered with any one else. Makeup also took the stress off this mom since she had a rough week. This definitely made her whole week better so that made me happy I could do that for her. I could tell how excited she was that her precious angel was a girl. I knew we had to throw in pink for her baby girl. How precious are they? She was very hesitant when I showed her the layer but I loved how much she trusted me.

Would you laugh if I told you before the chiffon layer shots, Nathaniel did several push ups? I swear we laughed forever over that. That truly shows how important this session was to him. It might not mean anything to others but to me, I can tell which dads take the extra step for their session. Even brought in shirts for me to choose from. The whole time Amberlyn was getting her makeup done, he just smiled at her. He was completely mesmerized. You just have to smile when you can feel the love to that extent. When I told him to whisper in her ear, they automatically laughed. I did too but I didn’t even know what they said. That is how close they are to one another. Their love was definitely contagious.

I can not wait to incorporate purple into their newborn session. Mom told me how much she loved purple and baby girl’s nursery is purple as well. I love coordinating between maternity and newborn sessions. You always want wall art that goes together so it flows naturally. Amberlyn already got a head start on her beautiful wall grouping! I can’t wait to put all of them together for her for when they move! It is going to be the perfect touch to their new house. Plus, all the awesome siblings shots we will get at the newborn session. I know how hard it is going to be for mom to choose. <3
