Shreveport, Louisiana Newborn Photographer | Ayla's Newborn Session

Latilraka seems excited when we discussed details over the phone. I love how she trusted me to do all the set ups. The vibrant earth tones gave me life. Latilraka and Aason have such a beautiful daughter. I probably asked 1000 questions when he told me he was a mortician. I have always wondered what that was like since I used to be interested in it. I could see the love they have for their daughter during the session. I was swooning when they brought her in. Look at all that hair and those chunky cheeks. Mom loved the gold more than any other set up. I can’t wait to see this printed big. It screams, “let us protect you.” Recently I have fell in love with hands on baby. You can really see how small newborns are. When she came in the studio, I thought she was chunky. When dad held her, I realized how small she was. At the ordering, I could tell she already looked bigger. It always makes me smile when I get to see the parents reactions. Most of the time they say, “I didn’t realize you did half of these set ups.” It goes fast between the feeding, changing, laughing, and talking. It’s a bond I hold dear because we get to know each other on a deeper level. Especially since newborn sessions are 2-4 hours.

I can’t wait to see their beautiful acrylics. I know dad is most excited about the acrylic album. He chose a beautiful navy color since it’s his favorite color. It matches the bucket pose which I thought was perfect. I always say the bigger the better. When you look at your walls, you want people to say wow, that is stunning. As soon as you take a step back, you realize it’s smaller than you thought. You always want to measure your walls or have photographs present at the ordering. I can help guide you which size would fit perfectly.
