Evelyn is a beautiful miracle baby. I will never forget when Erin told me she was expecting twins. Her family was thrilled! She even sent me examples of what she wanted for the newborn session. I will never forget when I got the sad news. I couldn't even imagine how her family felt. Through it all, they remained strong. They looked forward to meeting their beautiful miracle baby!

This is her story: God answered our prayers! We not only found out we were pregnant, but we were pregnant with TWINS! We were scared to death, but our hearts were overjoyed and the excitement exceeded all fear!

13 weeks later, our hearts were broken when I sat in that ultrasound room, alone, being told that only 1 heartbeat could be found! All the fears I ever had of being a twin mom quickly turned to regret that I ever felt a single ounce of fear and I just wanted our baby back!

I knew the hardest part was going to be breaking the news to Kaleigh because she had PRAYED for twins, every single night, for an entire year! It broke her, but I quickly saw just how strong and mature she truly is! After about an hour, she did and said everything she possibly could to make ME feel better! I knew in that moment that my baby was no longer a "baby"!

God has a plan for each of us and his plan for our family made us stronger and closer than it has ever been! So, to anyone struggling, never give up on God! I promise you, he has not given up on you and he never will!
