Shreveport, Louisiana Newborn Photographer | Charlie's Newborn Session

Kristina and Marissa were two outgoing women. I could tell right away how important photography was for them. I swear it was like we have known each other forever. Everytime I scheduled them, I got more excited. I looked forward to the day I got to see them again. We could just chat for hours about life. You will never regret having a connection with your photographer. Especially ones working with your little one. You want to be able to trust them 100%. Always book someone who has experience and understand safety.

Charlie was a little angel. I love that both parents did not want pink. They wanted props and colors outside of pink and purples. Of course I got excited because I love doing different things. That is what makes the experience more unique to each client. Marissa suggested grey for the crown and pearl set. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED how it turned out. I might hire her as my new assistant. LOL. ;)

Anytime a client request a sentimental photograph, I am honored. I love being able to create beautiful photographs for my clients to keep forever. Kristina wanted to capture a beautiful handmade blanket that her mom, pop, and nana made before her nana passed. It was made out of their shirts. How awesome is that? Kristina even teared up when I took this photograph. It just reminded me how short life is and how important these moments are. Her Gigi also gave her a beautiful pearl necklace. I loved being able to incorporate them into her session. She looked like a little princess. <3

Their products are going to be to die for. They chose products for the grandparents and let me tell you, that always melts my heart. it is even better they chose detail shots for their walls. Detail shots are some of my client’s favorites. I can’t wait to see them again at Charlie’s milestone session. She is going to grow so fast. I can’t lie, she has some amazing parents.

Story time: my Nana made Charlie a blanket before she was born. Sadly, Nana did not get to meet Charlie. But, she has her blanket. Our photographer was kind enough to include this special blanket in her newborn photos... I purposefully have not shared this photo with everyone yet because it was a surprise for my mom (Charlie’s Nana). Life is short. Cherish every single moment.
