Katy and Shawn were a blast. I loved getting to know them at their session. They have been together since they were in highschool. Highschool sweethearts…awwww. How awesome is that? I love hearing all the love stories. They went back and fourth on children but they decided it was time to start trying. Soon they were expecting their beautiful baby girl. She has her daddy wrapped around her finger. He was rocking her back and fourth while walking around my studio. Moments like these stay in my heart forever. I love feeling the love during the session. Parents usually offer to help me or want to sit and watch me. They are invested in the experience from the very start. I have so many of my clients tell me they thought the baby just slept the entire time but I made it look so easy. When you hire a newborn photographer, you definitely want to know how they will react with your little one. Safety is the most important to me. Do your research before hiring any one to care for your little one. You won’t regret it. <3

Sweet Charlee wanted all the cuddles. You know it’s a good time when the babies sleep with their mouth open. I LOVED all the colors mom wanted. We definitely got a variety. Katy and Shaun had me at... "We love black and white so much." Black and white is always sentimental to me. It melts my heart when clients can't decide which one they love more.

Any time I catch a smile on camera, I feel accomplished. She smiled more than any other baby. I felt like it was every few minutes. When I viewed their beautiful album for the first time, I smiled every single page. The color turned out beyond perfect. I love how many of the dads have been helping to make decisions. I think every ones input is good when investing in heirlooms for your home. Dad was definitely decisive for what he thought would look best. I can't wait until they see all their heirlooms displayed together.
