Shreveport, Louisiana Newborn Photographer | Jackson's Newborn Session

Oh sweet baby Jackson! His daddy LOVES fishing so they were thrilled when I incorporated this awesome fishing set up. Look at the little fishing pole. I CAN NOT HANDLE IT. If you search or read my blogs, you’ll see Taytum looks extremely familiar. That is because a little over a year ago, I got to capture Jessi’s maternity and newborn session. Her sister referred her and she has been with me every since. I will never take for granted all the families I get to watch grow. Jessi reached out when she was expecting Taytum. They were thrilled, I was thrilled, and their family was thrilled. Jessi and Tristan waiting years for their little rainbow baby. So much medication and waiting time. Soon after Taytum’s session, I learned she was expecting again. HOW EXCITING! They told me from the start the family they wanted. Now I get to capture it while they live it. It honestly does not get better than that.

Jackson was a little doll. Of course since it is almost fall, we had to pull out mustard. It is a client favorite. I would be lying if I didn’t say I used fall colors year round though. Jackson was awake most of his session. I think he wanted to see what I was doing. Maybe he was thinking, “oh this lady again.” Mom loved having some smiles and awake shots so I can’t complain. I always work on baby’s time anyways. If they are awake, we will shoot until they sleep (if able). I promise most give up. Don’t let the few blinks fool you though.

Here are a few from sweet Taytum’s session. Oh my goodness has she grown so much in just a short period. I hope I get to continue to watch this sweet family grow. They are amazing parents. I can tell how thrilled they are to have a family of their own. We loved catching up after almost a year. Congrats on the new house! Many memories will be made there.
