Shreveport, Louisiana Maternity Photographer | Brooke's Maternity Session
BROOKE! Look at this beautiful mother. I originally met her when I shot her maternity and newborn session with her daughter. Since then, she has graduated and now expecting a little boy. How exciting? I say it a lot but I am always excited to see returning clients. They are truly my friends. We get to catch up and explore new adventures together. For Brooke’s first session, I wasn’t offering makeup and hair or a variety of gowns. She expressed how excited she was for the full experience. She even said, “where do I go for makeup and hair?” She was shocked to learn everything is done in studio. How convenient is that? I know she works extremely hard so she didn’t have to lift a figure for her maternity session.
She was able to come in my studio with her comfy clothes on for her maternity session. You even get to enjoy snacks while you get pampered. Who wouldn’t love that? We explored so many ideas when it came to her session. She wanted to take the opportunity for studio shots since I didn’t offer it with her first. She fell in love with so many she saw from my website. I also recommend showing me the ones you want for your sessions. It gives me a better idea. Plus, I want to make sure you get exactly want you want!
At her viewing and ordering session, she honestly had to hardest time to decide. She kept saying, “I just want them all.” When clients come in they almost always have a hard time deciding. You know what that means? It means I done my job. Always makes me feel good to hear all the omg, wow, color or black and white statements. She chose a beautiful photograph for their acrylic print. I can’t wait to see it next to her newborn one when he’s here. Coordinating maternity and newborn sessions makes my heart melt. I get to capture the little one in the belly and out. It’s like I am on the journey with them.
She looked absolutely stunning during her maternity session! My makeup artist likes to keep it more natural for maternity. So she can really compliment your complexion and the color dresses you choose. Brooke let me be creative and fell in love with some of the shots I recommended. She couldn’t even pick just one for her absolute favorite. She had a few picked out for her acrylic artwork. I am glad it wasn’t me because it would be SUPER hard to pick. I had trouble even picking ones for this blog.
Autumn was so sweet! I can’t believe how big she has gotten. She has the silliest little personality. You can tell she loves to make others laugh. I can hear her little laugh now. She was full of energy and love. She was too excited to hug and touch her mom’s belly. Even kiss it. At one point she grabbed her parent’s hands and hugged them real tight. It was the cutest thing! She also wasn’t even scared to go on an adventure outside. I have to give props to dad for doing her hair so cute! I don’t even know how to braid like he does. He was also excited for the session so I always love to see that. Or at least he seemed like it. LOL. I know he’s super excited for his little buddy to get here!
