Me to Becca: what are you thinking?

Becca: a little bit of everything.

Me: I can definitely do that.

I love when clients come in and trust me. I am the expert but I always want to be sure we capture everything you’d like. When it’s hot in Louisiana, most don’t want to go outside. I can’t blame them and I’m not even pregnant. Most want studio and the possibilities are ENDLESS. I usually recommend a tulle (big gown) since we can recreate it at your newborn session. A tight but fancy dress option so you can have more motion in your photographs. It’s easier posing wise. Of course, a casual outfit. One that compliments you. You can see your belly more which is the main reason for your maternity session. We also do fine art nude and fabric. That is totally up to you. I will throw in backlit as well since we do a few for your newborn session. If you choose wall art or an album, you want them to match. That way it tells your story. I love how open Becca was through the entire session. This isn’t even the entire gallery.

I mean this doesn’t get any better. I loved this look and how I can change the backdrop to fit the look. She fell in love with this gown the moment she put it on. Almost like she was going to an event. This dress would definitely show up and show out. All the photographs she chose fit her personality so well. She loved the smiling ones more than the serious ones. That is probably why I always get different facial expressions. You never know which ones you would love more. You don’t want the same expression in every single photo.

Becca and Alexandra had a tough time choosing their favorites at the ordering. I love one would unfavorite a photo and then add it back. They definitely had different favorites. Orderings typically take an hour or more so there’s no rush. You want to make sure you get the selection you want without any regrets. There is no pressure. I truly enjoyed seeing their reaction. She was nervous she would favorite them all. So it was awesome to see the original ones favorited and how they came up with a plan to choose which ones to keep. I get to see not only their reaction but the entire process. From choosing, narrowing (or adding more), and designing their beautiful products.
