Shreveport, Louisiana Photographer | Millie's Newborn Session

This family was too precious at their newborn session! Megan and Cole were a blast. I am so thankful dad was able to get off on lunch to come to the newborn session. I know they will never regret having their first portraits done. We did several set ups before he even got there. Mom didn’t care about specific colors so we ended up doing several. I love neutral but I would be lying if I said I didn’t love color more.

I know things can feel a little chaotic with toddlers. You always wonder if you will get enough shots. That is where I come in. I swear we will get more than one. I always work with how the toddler is feeling that day. It’s hard for them to sit in a new environment. They want to explore! That’s why we will play games with them and go slow. Don’t worry, I am a pro at face swapping now. LOL! I will be sure to get the shot you are looking for at your session. If not, I will be sure to photoshop for you. Megan was highly impressed at the amount of sibling shots we got. She was hoping for just one. She ended up purchasing them all because I mean aren’t they the cutest? He was FAST too. I loved how much he loved to explore my studio. They are always curious at that age.

All the little detail shots melt my heart. I know it was hard to choose between them. I always make sure to remember these little moments. Considering my daughter is almost 11, I miss the smell of babies. Is that weird? They just have a certain smell. Detail shots truly show how small they are. Sometimes photographs can make them appear bigger so that’s why I love them so much. I actually do too many! Well, can you have too many? I don’t think so. Megan did want her grandmothers bracelet in a photograph. I made sure to get several shots of that. I always love when clients bring in anything sentimental. It’s a photograph that will be passed down and cherished forever.
