Jamie and Zach WERE a blast. I also got to capture their maternity session. When I say we laughed, I almost cried. I was laughing so hard. They are amazing outgoing people. It was so wild because her and two of my other clients gave birth the exact same day. All boys and they weighed over 8lbs. I have never experienced that in my 10 years of photographer. I thought it was so unique. It was a story I couldn’t wait to blog about. Thank you for reading my blogs by the way! I used to write poems when I was younger. I always received As on all my research papers too. I am not sure how I got there but I just enjoy writing. Almost as much as I love talking. Lol. If you know me, you know.

Anyways, back to my amazing clients. I couldn’t wait to meet little McKray at his newborn session. When I tell you he was SUPER content, I mean it. I have never had a baby almost awake the entire time just content as can be. Of course he loved snuggles. Anytime he cried, all I had to do was pick him up. I know sometimes parents get a lot of, “you hold him/her too much.” However, I have an almost 11 year old. When I tell you to hold your little one as much as possible, I mean snuggle him/her AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. He would immediately fall asleep laying on me. I wonder if there’s a job where you just snuggle babies all day? Now I am rambling a little but mom fell in LOVE with the detail shots. As soon as I started doing them, she said, “AHHHH DETAIL SHOTS.” I knew they would be some of her favorite. She said she saw them on my Facebook page and couldn’t wait until her turn. I am thankful my clients love them as much as me because I sure do A LOT of them.

I mean does it get any cuter? You never really notice just how small they are until you compare your hands to theirs. I love shots that include hands. Luckily the parents were open to every color I had laid out. He even gave me cute smiles and funny expressions. I could have captured him ALL day. Dad did mention the yellow looked like his poop. We all got a kick out of that. Now I won’t be able to unsee it. Thanks dad. Ha!
