Shreveport, Louisiana Newborn Photographer | Vivienne's Newborn Session

I love how much Becca wanted ALL the photographs. Their customized album is one I wish I could have. They decided to engraved Vivienne’s name on it. Which makes it even more sentimental. It also matches their maternity album. When I tell you this little one did not like being cold, I mean it. I loved how alert and awake she was. Every single baby is different and that’s why I work on their time. You shouldn’t rush or try anything new when your little client is active and moving. We love to take breaks during the session. That includes changing, feeding, and a lot of snuggles.

They wanted their gallery to be majority family shots. We definitely incorporated hand shots as much as we could. Poses that include hands truly show how small your little one is. Not only that, it makes it sentimental. It reminds me of the first time you held your little one. All the emotions come flowing. You waited nine long months to finally be able to hear them, smell them, and hold them. It’s incredible to me.

Incoming family overload. How cute are they? We wanted different styles including the variety of greys. The maroon was perfect for the fall. The pink was perfect for the baby girl. Mom loved how her cheeks showed in these. She almost cried watching dad. So blessed I got to witness that. It reminds you how much I love my job. I never forget but moments like that I remember forever. I am the one to capture their first portraits, usually see their little one first, get the first updates, and see them grow. I don’t take that lightly because I know as a mom, you have to put a lot of trust in someone when it involves your child.
